Julie A. Olson, age 54, a resident of Shell Lake passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
Julie was born on January 7, 1966 in Spooner to parents; Leroy and Janet Nelson.
She was a 1984 graduate of Shell Lake High School and the Wisconsin Indian Technical Institute in 1986. She was employed at the tribal center for 20 years.
In her free time she enjoyed to hunt, fish, read and spend time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kody Pettis.
She is survived by her parents, Leroy and Janet; brother, Leroy, Jr. “Max” (Shelley) Nelson and their children, Abbie and Tyler; sister, Kori Nelson; uncles, Robert “Bob” Nelson and Dale (Maddie) Cronkhite; cousins, Stephen (Summer) Cronkhite and Ted, Jr., Nelson; great cousin, Emery Cronkhite; along with other relatives and friends.
Private family services will be held.
