Judith Reese

Judith “Judi” Ann Reese , age 73, of Danbury, WI, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Judi was born on November 23, 1945, in Superior, to parents, Kathleen (Hammond) and Edward VanGuilder. She graduated from Superior Senior High in 1963. On November 5, 1966, Judi was united in marriage to Fred Reese. Judi enjoyed reading, tending to her flowers, feeding the birds and spending time outside. She was a member of the Red Hat Society for over 15 years and a longtime friend of the library. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandmother. Preceding Judi in death are her parents; and brother, Harold (Marie) VanGuilder. Judi is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Fred; daughters, Dawn Marie Krysan (Chris) and Leah Ellen (Darin) Berg; granddaughters, Ellie Rose and Emma Ann; and brothers, Russell VanGuilder and Robert VanGuilder; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 11:00am (visitation from 10-11:00am) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster.
