Joyce A. Rivard, age 84, a resident of Grantsburg passed away on July 29, 2022.
Joyce was born in Siren on February 19, 1938 to Ervin and Elma Radke.
Joyce and Al were united in marriage on January 12, 1974 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Joyce was very talented and enjoyed crafting. She put her abilities into knitting, crocheting, quilting, leather work and wood working. She enjoyed gardening, garage sales and reading.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Lowell; her parents; sister, Kathy Hanson and brother, Dale Radke.
She is survived by her husband, Al; children, Larry (Theresa) Pierce, Lori Pierce, Mike (Julie) Pierce, Jill Haley, Joni (Arlan) Cook and Joel (Carol) Hackett; along with 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; brothers, Wesley (Barbara) Radke, Bruce (Kim) Stener, and David Stener; sister, Tammy (Eric) Ruppe; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Grantsburg with Pastor Jay Ticknor officiating.
