Joyce A. Peterson

Age 94, passed away on February 25, 2025, in Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Joyce was born on August 23, 1930 in Minneapolis to Ernest and Alvina Soderberg. She married Paul Gramer in Minneapolis, MN. The couple had 2 children: Glenn and Gary Gramer. She worked as an office secretary at the Burnett County Housing Authority in Webster, WI. Joyce was active in the Homemakers Club, Historical Society, and Fort Folle Avoine. She had many wonderful friends and neighbors and looked forward to the weekly widows’ luncheon at Dairy Queen. Joyce remained active in the First Baptist Church in Webster and was blessed by the friendship and love of many. She was a firm believer that Northwestern Wisconsin had three seasons- fishing, hunting and football.

Joyce is survived by her sons Glenn (Teressa) Gramer, of Danbury, WI and Gary (Wendy) Gramer of Danbury, WI, granddaughter Cassandra, grandsons Nick(Cortney) and Dustin, and great-grandsons Jordan, Logan, Ryan and Nathan.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Alvina Soderberg, her first husband Paul Gramer, and second husband Maurice Peterson.

A visitation will be held on Saturday March 22nd at First Baptist Church, 7422 W Kola St, Webster, WI 54893, from 10am until the time of memorial service at 11am. Private interment at Danbury Cemetery, Danbury, WI.
