Joseph William Petersen, age 49, a resident of Siren passed away on May 24, 2023 at home.
Joseph was born on August 27, 1973 in Minneapolis, MN to parents Stephen Petersen and Eva St. Clair.
Joseph grew up in Linwood, MN. He attended Forest Lake schools. Eventually moving up to the Siren area later in life.
Joseph loved fishing and hunting from childhood on and enjoyed being outside in the great outdoors. He liked to fix cars and motors. He was a joker and loved to tease his sisters. He truly enjoyed his friends and family and never forgot about them even if he enjoyed his time alone.
Joseph is preceded in death by his father, Stephen; grandparents, Don and Margaret Peterson and Velda and William St. Clair.
He will forever be missed by his mother Eva (Arlin Moen); sisters, Tammi (Mike) Bachman, Lisa Bernin, Kimberly Atchison, Stephanie Bernin; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
