Jordan Rogers

Jordan Matthew Rogers “MaKwa-Gabo”, age 33, a resident of Hertel, WI passed away on May 8, 2023.

Jordan was born on November 22, 1989 in Spooner, WI to parents Terrance Rogers and Ja-Neen Mosay.

Jordan loved drawing, writing and listening to music. He enjoyed being in the great outdoors and hanging out with his family and friends. He was very proud to be the father of his two beautiful girls.

Jordan is preceded in death by his father, Terrance; brother, Joseph; grandpa, Bennie Rogers; aunt, Stacy Rogers; Uncle, Travis Buck; beloved cousins, Shelby and Courtney.

He will be forever missed by his mother, Ja-Neen (Buck Zehner) Mosay; his children, Jordan JaNae Rogers and Avionna Larey Parsons; aunts, Renee (Ricardo) Fairbanks, Stephine Mosay, Shannon (Bruce) Bellanger, Roxanne St. John, Nicole, Sharon and Darla Rogers; uncle, Charlie Rogers; nephews, Skyler Notinokey and Creedance Rogers; along with many other relatives and friends.

Friends may call on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 after 7:00 PM at St. Croix Tribal Center in Hertel. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Croix Tribal Center in Hertel with Chato Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Lake Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie Rogers, Skyler Notinokey, Christopher Phernetton, Frankie Bildeau, Bryce Dwneen, Bruce Bellanger, Gavin Benjamin and Brent Reynolds. Honorary Pallbearers are Bronson Benjamin, Buck Zehner, Mark Stoner, Sequoia Bellanger, Elijah Benjamin, Robbie Phernetton, Sean Reynolds, Derek Churchill, Clint Mosay and Allen Mosay.
