John Jacobson

John Lloyd Jacobson, aka "Jake", age 61, of Siren, Wisconsin passed away suddenly on February 27, 2012. He was born July 18, 1950 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He graduated from Mounds View High School in 1968 and attended the University of Minnesota. John was an electrician by trade and a 35 year member of the IEBW #292. He was a passionate outdoorsman and musky fisherman, an avid enthusiast of baseball, and never left a deer tag unfilled. He will be remembered by many for his love of the woods and waters and his outgoing nature. He is preceded in death by his parents John Lloyd and Josephine Ann Jacobson, and his sister Judith Ann Petersen. He is survived by his brother Scott Jacobson (Kay) of Cushing, Wisconsin, and their children Andrew, Rachel and Kara as well as his nephews Adam and Brett Petersen. Memorial service will be Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 7:00 PM with a gathering from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Grantsburg Chapel.
