John “Snoop” J. Hesson, age 65, a resident of Grantsburg passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
John was born in Minneapolis, MN on April 13, 1955 to parents, Chester and Rhoda Hesson.
John worked for Burnett Medical Center as a maintenance manager for 33 years.
John loved anything music. He was a drummer with Fairchild and Hwy 61 and the founder of Pinko music fest in Grantsburg. He was a member of the Free Masons in Minneapolis. John enjoyed fishing, reading and learning new things. He was intrigued by ufo’s, Sasquatch and the Smiley Face Killer.
John was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Paul, Ray and Robert; sister, Ruth and grandson, Torin.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathryn (Justin) Smith and Kristine Hesson; sister, Barb (Ken) Moore; brother, Arne (Cleo) Hesson; grandson, Jaedon Delong; along with nieces, nephews, special friend Marilyn Moffett, other relatives and friends.
