John Friel

John Francis Friel, Sr., age 75, passed away March 26, 2010 of cancer. John was born on April 13, 1934 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was a landscaper/mechanic and he came here from Hugo, Minnesota in May, 1977. He was a Child of God. John was preceded in death by his sister Gloria Owens. He is survived by his wife Carole Faye Friel of Lakeland, FL; children Chuck Friel of Hartsell, CO; Johnny Friel of Lakeland, FL; Rick Friel of Pitts, GA; Debbie McMonigal of New Hall, CA; Sandy Chabot of Pillager, MN; Diane Gray of Plant City, FL; Gail Koziski of Webster, WI; Vonda Barron of Danbury, WI; Bernard Friel of Litchfield, MN; Wayne Friel of Webster, WI; Michael Friel of Forest Lake, MN; siblings Mary Alice Schmidt of St. Paul Park, MN; Carol Kromschroeder of Inver Grove Hts., MN; 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Memorial service Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM (visitation 1-2 PM) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster with Pastor Steve Ward officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Webster.
