Joe Fornengo, age 92, a resident of Danbury, WI passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Duluth, MN with his loved ones by his side.
Joe was born on August 6, 1929 in Cloverton, MN to parents John and Maria Fornengo.
He enlisted into the U.S. Army on October 27, 1950 and was honorably discharged on August 13, 1956.
Joe married the love of his life, Irene Pardun on March 12, 1951 in Minneapolis, MN.
He worked on the family farm they bought in 1953 besides being a truck driver for Barton Construction from 1961 to 1966 and the Burnett County Highway Department where he retired in 1975.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irene; brothers, Tony, Pete, Domonic; sisters, Mary, Maggie, Lucy, Tracy; grandsons, Jeremy and Cody.
He is survived by his children, Tina Reese (Jerry Perius), Tim (Teresa) Fornengo, Tony (Sheila) Fornengo; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brother, Martin Fornengo; and many other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM (visitation 12:00 – 1:00 PM) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
