Jody Quimby

Jody Jeanne Quimby , age 41, of Grantsburg, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 16, 2019.
Jody was born on December 1, 1977, in Minneapolis, MN, to parents, Patricia (Johnson) and Michael Jackson. She graduated from Grantsburg High School in 1996.
On October 10, 1998, Jody was united in marriage with Dennis Quimby at the Calvary Covenant Church in Alpha.
Jody was employed by the Grantsburg Post Office as a rural mail carrier for many years. She loved watching her kids sporting events from soccer to basketball and everything in between. She was very dedicated to attending all that she could to support her children. Whether she thought it or not, she was a wonderful mother and wife, never selfish and always putting others before herself. Jody loved campfires and talking with her family. She also enjoyed camping with friends and any vacations she could squeeze in throughout the year.
Preceding Jody in death by her niece, Corrine Quimby.
Jody is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Dennis; children, Brooke, Connor and Colton; parents, Patricia and Michael Jackson; brother, Jay (Jamie) Jackson; parents-in-law, Joan and Thomas Quimby Sr.; brothers-in-law, Tom (Sandy) Quimby Jr. and Rick Quimby; sister-in-law, Jeana Quimby; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at 1:00pm (visitation from 11:00am-1:00pm) at Calvary Covenant Church in Alpha with Pastor Mike Kleven and Pastor Steve Ward officiating. Interment will be held at Trade Lake Swedish Mission Cemetery.
