Joann Peterson

March 30, 1927 — January 11, 2019

Joann B. Peterson, 91 of Webster Wisconsin passed away peacefully Friday January 11th at Grantsburg Hospital.   Joann was born March 30, 1927 in Webster Wisconsin to Frank & Mae Panek.   She was united in marriage October 9, 1947 to Anton Peterson, Jr. After Anton's discharge from the Navy, they made their home in Webster for the rest of their lives.   Joann loved spending time doing yard work and gardening in here earlier years and loved watching the deer and other animals that came into her yard.   Joann was preceded in death by her husband Anton, her mother & father Frank & Mae Panek, her sister Gladys Barber, brother Frank Panek and many in-laws.   She is survived by her son Jerry Peterson, Hudson WI; son and daughter-in-law Denny (Pat) Peterson, White Bear Lake, MN; daughter and son-in-law Lori (Marvin) Johnson, Eau Claire WI; Four granddaughters, Teri (Gary) Eskuri, Melissa (Rino) Nazal, Nicole Johnson and Aimee Johnson (Justin). Five great grandchildren; Kaitlin & Jacob Eskuri, Cameron, Amelia and Lauren Nazal. Brother Roger (Jan) Panek and sister Rita (Bob) Hughes along with many other dear relatives.   The family wishes to thank numerous friends, neighbors and relatives that helped Joann these past years to ensure she was able to remain in the home she loved.   A huge thank you to the Webster Meals on Wheel staff, EMT crews, local law enforcement and staff at Grantsburg Hospital for the caring and help.   As per Joann's wishes, no public service will be held.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster Wisconsin.
