Jerry

Jerry S. Mechelke, age 79, a resident of Webster passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2019. Jerry was born on June 24, 1940 in Stillwater, Minnesota to parents, Henry and Mabel (Kolashinski) Mechelke. Jerry and Mary were married on March 13, 2003 in Fort Myers, Florida. Jerry was a very social kind of guy.  He sponsored cars and was always in for a night at Cedar Lake Speedway. He also enjoyed antiques and watching the fireworks. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary; children, Angela Abbott, Rick (Michelle) Mechelke, Lance (Julie) Germain, Shawn (Stacy) Germain, and Lisa (Shawn) Schurhamer; grandchildren, Brittany (Jack), Chase, Kyle, Kaylynn, Hannah, Matthew, and Morgan; sister, Susan Finn; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives any many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 4-7 PM at Jed’s Laker Lounge. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
