Janina Fristed

November 3, 1924 — October 26, 2014

Janina (Kramarz) Fristed, age 89, a resident of Baldwin, died October 26, 2014. Janina was born November 3, 1924 to Joseph and Genevieve (Bodonavik) Sakolna, in Poland. On August 19, 1955 she married Walter in Heidelberg Germany. Janina enjoyed rural life with family and friends in Webster Wisconsin, where she and Walter resided after Walter retired from the Army. She is enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, fishing, crafts and needlework. She volunteered at the ladies auxiliary for the VFW and Cape side Cove Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, her parents, brother, Tom, sisters, Anna, Mary, Stella and Julia. Brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Leo (Marie) Fristed, Carles (Rosella) Fristed, Hazel (Gene) Meyer, Albert Fristed, Owen (Delores) Fristed. She is survived by her son: Gary (Kathleen) Fristed; her Grandchildren: Christopher (Racheal) Fristed and Curtis (Emily) Fristed; her Great Grandchildren: Lotus Fristed, Josephine Fristed and Titus Fristed. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws Alice Fristed, Anna (Duane) Nickerson and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Carles Richard Fristed, Glenn Fristed, Donald Fristed, Theodore Fristed, Harlan Nickerson and Myron Nickerson. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM (visitation 1-2 PM) at Swedbert-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster with Pastor Gil White officiating. Interment will follow at Viola Lake Cemetery in Sand Lake Township. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedber-Taylor Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.swedberg-taylor.com
