James Wayne Johnson

James Wayne Johnson April 29, 1948 – February 15, 2025

James Wayne Johnson, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 15, 2025, just two months and two weeks shy of his 77th birthday. At the time of his passing, his devoted Mary Jane and faithful dog Bandit were by his side.

James is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, 9 months, and 3 days, Mary Jane Johnson; his son Christopher W. (Christine) Johnson; his daughter Carrie L. Johnson (Torrey) Snell; and his cherished granddaughters Kaitlin Miller and Eva Johnson; brother Jeff (Rebecca) Johnson; sister Julie (David) Denn.

He was preceded in death by his mother Joan “Betsy” Johnson, his father Raymond W. Johnson, his sister Jody Johnson, his brother Jay (Christiann) Johnson, and his brother-in-law Bobbie (Sue) Nowak.

James enjoyed a full life of family, friends, traveling, the great outdoors, and his cars. He was very proud of the business he started and worked till the day he died.
