James F. Price, 82, passed away March 31, 2024, at Regions Hospital. Jim was born to parents Stanley and Bernetta Price in Hastings, MN.
He grew up in River Falls, WI, and graduated from River Falls High School in 1960. In 1961, he married his high school sweetheart, Sandra Ottman. Together they had two children, Joel and Pamela.
Jim worked at Andersen window company for 38 years. His father, brother, son, and daughter all worked and retired from Andersen Company.
For over 50 years, Jim and Sandy always had a place "up north". In 2002, they moved form River Falls to their lake home in Danbury. He loved snowmobiling, fishing, and having a nice well-maintained yard, He was a huge football fan and loved cheering on the Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. Along with his son, he built a 1938 Chevy street rod. Later he sold that and built a custom 1955 Chevy 2-door hardtop. Jim and Sandy attended many car shows over the years and had won many trophies with his car. He also enjoyed a happy hour bloody mary nearly every day. Jim was a friendly guy and always seemed to have fun with everyone he met.
Jim will forever be remembered by his wife, Sandy of 63 years; his children, Joel Price and Pam (Chris) Rapsch; grandchildren Jacob (Kelli) Maier, Jordan Maier and Kelly Maier; brothers, Thomas (Linda) Price and Stanley Price and sister, Corrine Warmboe; as well as nephews and niece, many friends.
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
