Jacquelyn Ann “Jackie” Amick, age 80, of Webster, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014. She was born in Racine, WI, on September 16, 1933, a daughter of the late Floyd and Wilma (Bemis) Lehman. On September 10, 1955, Jackie married Richard Amick in West Des Moines, Iowa. They lived in Mason City, Iowa, for 25 years. Jackie and Richard enjoyed spending as much time as possible at their cabin, and fishing, on Yellow Lake. In 1996, they made their permanent home in Webster. Richard passed away December 10, 2012. Jackie had a wonderful sense of humor and was considered a gourmet cook. While residing in Mason City, she volunteered numerous hours every week at the local hospital and with hospice. She was also highly involved with regular fund raising events for hospice and the local library. Jackie also enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge and solitaire, and reading mystery novels. Surviving are three children: Mark (Pam) Amick, Kurt Amick, and Karla Amick; three grandchildren: Travis, Jason, and Sarah; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joni. Private services are being held for Jackie Amick. Arrangements have been entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Webster, WI.
