Jacob David Stener, age 27, passed away on November 16, 2021 in North Carolina.
Jacob was born on June 12, 1994 in Spooner to parents David Stener and Joyce Icard.
Jacob was smart, strategic and technically inclined. Jacob could have done anything he put his mind to. He enlisted in the Navy serving as a first-class petty officer for six and a half years and dedicated his life to keeping people safe. He continued his path by applying his technical skill set to a career in cyber security. He also had a passion for cooking. His father’s pea soup was one of his favorite dishes to make.
Jacob is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce.
Jacob is survived by his father, David; son, James Stener; brothers, Joel (Tarin) Icard and Jesse Stener; along with many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home Siren, WI with interment to follow at the Lakeside Orange Cemetery in Webster, WI.
