Jace Canfield

Jace Lorenzo Canfield, age 44, a resident of Eau Claire passed away on July 28, 2022.

Jace was born on December 25, 1977 in Shell Lake, WI to parents John and Elizabeth (Andrea) Canfield.

Jace graduated from Spooner High School in 1996 and went on to continue his education at Chippewa Valley Technical College for 3 years. After college Jace worked as a machinist becoming a general manager at Enterprise Tool and Die in Chippewa Falls, WI.

Jace was a dedicated hunter and often came home with one for the wall. In the off season he could be found casting on the river or lake, and then watching or playing some of his favorite sports such as hockey, baseball, golf, NASCAR and four wheeling. He passed all these hobbies on to his two sons and found them to be the best buddies to do them with.

Jace is survived by Janelle and sons, Jack and Jarek; parents, John (Therese) Canfield and Beth (Marc) Kronlund; brother, Johnny Canfield; sister, Jessica Canfield; stepbrothers, Daniel (Megan) Keown, Bryan (Terri) Keown and Michael (Jessica) Keown; along with many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 7:00 PM (visitation from 5:00-7:00 PM) at the Spooner Funeral Home, Spooner, WI.
