Iva Lea (Ivy) Sanford, 70, was sent home to be with her heavenly father on December 25, 2014. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Ivy had touched in some small way throughout her memorable life. Ivy, the daughter of Bill and Lorraine (Johnson) Jiles, was born December 21, 1944 in Jefferson, Iowa. She later moved to Wisconsin with her family, and graduated from Grantsburg High School. She spent some of her adult life in the Cities, before moving back to Wisconsin to settle at her father's cabin, and making it her home. Wood Lake Bible Camp held a very special place in Ivy's heart. It was where she spent a lot of time quilting, scrapbooking, volunteering and working. It's also where Ivy and Larry were married on April 7, 2007. Ivy took pride in her work being a seamstress, as well as being a loving caregiver to numerous clients who became close friends and family. She enjoyed fishing and camping with her family, and also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, quilting, scrapbooking and gardening. Ivy was a member of White Cross Ministries, quilters, scrap bookers club and home makers club. She loved participating in the Burnett County Fair where she got multiple blue ribbons, and just this year took pride in getting a grand champion. She will be greatly missed by her Husband Larry, former husband Clarence Kedrowski; brother, David Jiles; sister, Mary Bingham. Children Jan (David) Sanford, Theresa Smith, Tammy (Tom) Montpetit, Jacki (Robert) Koser, Jamie (Kathy) Bistram, Jason (Melanie) Sanford, and Adam Kedrowski. Grandchildren Shawn, David, Mikel, Mark, Ashly, Kayla, Andrew, Samantha, Patrick, Cassandra, Jessie, Trishia, Jeffery, Faith, Brittany, Jaramiah and Hunter; along with numerous great- grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Ivy is proceeded in death by her parents and son Billy Joe. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015, 11AM (Visitation 10-11AM) at the Wood Lake Bible Camp 22460 Assembly Road Grantsburg, Wisconsin, with Pastor Ken Mettler officiating.
