Irving W. Robinson, Jr., age 71, of Webb Lake and formerly of Cannon Falls, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2015. Irv was born on April 10, 1943 in Cannon Falls, Minnesota to Irving, Sr. and Merea (Stafford) Robinson. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a wonderful friend to all. On September 28, 1961, Irv married JoAnn Hadler in Zumbrota, Minnesota. During their 33 years of marriage, they had 3 children and two grandchildren. Irv was employed at Viking Auto Salvage and was well known in the community. On October 28, 1997, Irv married Josephine Olson of Webb Lake. They were married in Las Vegas, Nevada. For over 20 years, Irv owned the The Repair Shop in Webb Lake and made numerous friends in the area. Irv was always there for everyone and it was not uncommon for people to call him from the Cities to turn on their heat, or repair their boat before the big weekend or to pickup or deliver whatever needed to be worked on. Irv and Jo also owned Jo Mamas Cafe and they spent countless hours at the diner. You could count on Irv being there at 6am with the coffee ready. He was always involved in some project but had time for snowmobiling, fishing and of course watching the Vikings play. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Diane. He is survived by wife Jo; daughters Patti (Fred) Klein, Sandi Robinson; son Kevin (Wendy) Robinson; grandchildren Alana and Derek; step daughters Missy (Kevin) Lonergan, Heidi Farrell, Cyndi (Darrin) Miller, Carol (Jay) Duncan; step sons Bryan (Corie) Olson and Michael (Deni) Olson; along with their 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at Lakeside Community Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Schroeder officiating.
