Irene J. Louden (Ah-goshi-yndt) "Little One", 72 of Shell Lake died March 9, 2013. Irene was born on September 15, 1940 in Royal Oaks, Michigan to Ira and Eva Louden. Irene worked as a counselor at Ain Dah Ing in Spooner and was the AODA Counselor at the Hertel Tribal Center. Irene was a nature lover and enjoyed picking berries and fishing, teaching most of her grandchildren how to fish. Irene also enjoyed spending hours beading. She was known to attend numerous auctions and garage sales looking for a bargain and adding to her collection of knick knacks. Irene was a homemaker and was dedicated to her family. Her most favorite times were spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her; her daughter Joyce; her parents Ira and Eva Louden; brother Russell Louden and sister Marilyn Burkoltz. She is survived by her children Luther (Jerry) Icard III, Denise Wehling, Terrence Icard, Sr., Austin (Alice) Denotter, and Shane (Melissa) Denotter; her many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Carmen (Stub) Burford, Carol (Ed) Peterson, and Janeane Aspinall; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Monday, March 11, 2013; 5-8 PM Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Webster. Funeral Tuesday, March 12, 2013; 11 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Webster. Interment will be held at the Lakeview Hertel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joel Icard, Terrence Icard, Jr., Jesse Stener, Kenny Cairns, Brian Riley, and AJ Denotter. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Taylor, Mike Taylor, Joe Taylor, John Taylor, Dana Clarke and Jimmy Copeland.
