Irene Bailey

Irene (Reny) L. Bailey, age 67, a resident of Danbury died July 9, 2008 at her home. Irene was born on July 2, 1941 in Polk County, Wisconsin to Alfred and Edith Peterson. Irene married Paul Bailey on December 8, 1962 at the Balsam Lake Baptist Church, they enjoyed 45 years of marriage. Irene enjoyed being a homemaker. She worked at Voyager Village for 15 years doing maintenance and enjoyed mowing the grass. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, scrap booking and sewing. Irene was preceded in death by her father Alfred. She is survived by her husband Paul, children Phillip (Carol) Bailey, Becky (Brad) Bender, Sheri Bailey, grandchildren Jacob, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Hannah, sister Mary (Keith) Ward, brothers Harold Peterson, Don (Debbie) Peterson, and David (Carolyn) Peterson. Funeral services were held Monday, July 14, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Falun with Pastor James Carmon officiating. Music was provided by Karen Miller. Internment followed at Bluff Lake Cemetery in Union Township. Casketbearers were Danny Cutler, Steve Anderson, Jeff Postler, Ryan Peterson, Keith Ward, Ben Ward, Don Peterson, and David Peterson. Honorary casketbearer was Brad Bender. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster, Wisconsin.
