Henrietta Larsen

Henrietta C. "Dolly" Spears Larsen, age 79. of Jackson Twp., Burnett Co., WI, passed away Saturday afternoon, December 10, 2016. Dolly was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on February 23rd, 1937 to Henry and Margaret Klein. She has a twin brother, Hank Klein, and a half sister, Lenore Kuelbs. Dolly married Ted Spears on June 26th, 1953 and they had 6 children. Dolly and Ted moved to Sand Lake in Webster, Wisconsin in June 1974. After Ted's passing in August 1995, Dolly met and married Harry Larsen on May 22nd, 1999. Dolly loved to bowl, knit, crochet and entertain guests. She also loved her kitties and dogs. She was a loving mother believing her success as a woman was in watching them grow up and making a loving home for them. Dolly is preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Ted; her second husband, Harry; and her daughter, Pamela Thomas. She is survived by her children: Susan Mendoza, Barbara (Claude) Davis, Terry (Jen) Spears, David Spears and Brenda Spears. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Hank (Doty) Klein; half-sister, Lenore (Joe) Kuelb; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Honoring Dolly's wishes, there will not be any public services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Humane Society of Burnett County (Siren, WI) or Regional Hospice (Spooner, WI).
