Harold Rieber

On March 10, 2025, Harold (Harry) G Rieber JR. of Danbury, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 83.

Born November 17, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI.

Proud US Navy Veteran, 6 years served as MM 3 Rd 3rd class Petty Officer. Served on the U.S.S Midway from 1962 to 1964 & the U.S.S Lake Champlain from 1960 to 1962.
Married Ruth Rieber October 15, 1966. Together they raised 3 kids.
Retired from Time Savers in 1998 after 25 years, then moved from Buffalo, MN to Danbury WI where Harold and Ruth enjoyed their retirement home.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, tinkering on projects in his garage, all sports and was a BIG Packers fan. Harold loved their dogs and spending time with his family- especially his grandkids.
Their home was always a gathering place for the kids, grandkids and their friends and families.

Harry will be deeply missed by his kids; sons, Troy (Vickie) Rieber and Mark (Stacy) Rieber; daughter Ranee (Shawn) Ergen; grandchildren, Jonathan (Katie), Christopher, Katelyn (Jake), Ryan, Susie, Shelby (Colton), Bryanna (William), Joseph (Vivian); great grandchildren, Hadley, Conner, and Rylah.
Harry was 1 of 10 kids. Survived by Sisters: Kathryn A Benck (Cletus D) Orlowske (Mike) Winona, MN, Virginia M Tils (Arthur D) Troutdale, OR, Marilynn A Richard (Frank) Escondido, CA, Maribeth Pettey (Lyle) Rochester, MN, Maureen S Schumacher (Peter D) La Crosse, WI, Brothers: Robert B Rieber (Deb) La Crosse, WI & Stanley L Rieber (Cheryl) La Crosse, WI

Harry is proceeded in death by his wife of 58 years who recently passed away, Ruth A Rieber, Father Harold S Rieber, Mother Marie A (Koopman) Rieber, Brother Gordon C Rieber (Judy D) Sister Valerie M Lindley (Mike D) and in law's Larry Eliason (Wanda D) Ron (Alice D) Hazel and Orval Eliason.

A small private ceremony will be held with the immediate family at a later date.
