Harold Edaburn

Harold Lynn Edaburn, age 68, of Grantsburg, WI, passed away Friday morning, October 14, 2016. Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on February 16, 1948, Harold was a son of the late Virgil and Fern (McBurney) Edaburn. He moved to the Grantsburg area when he was a young boy. On August 6, 1966, Harold was united in marriage to Gloria Jean LaFrombois at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Webster, WI. They recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very much, and enjoyed every moment with them. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, David Edaburn. Harold is survived by his wife, Gloria; three children: Douglas Edaburn, Maria (Kennedy) Simon, and Melissa Edaburn; six grandchildren: David, Elizabeth, Jeremy, Justin, Buddy, and Jared; and nine great-grandchildren: Faith, Kayson, Lilianna, David, Jozey, Bentley, Lyzel, Karter, and Finley. He is also survived by a sister, Charlotte (David) Israels; three brothers: David (Lois) Edaburn, Kenneth (Debbie) Edaburn, and Dan (Rita) Edaburn; as well as nieces and nephews. A memorial service honoring the life and memory of Harold Edaburn will be conducted at 11:00 am (visitation 10:00 to 11:00 am), Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Grantsburg with Pastor David Israels officiating.
