Gloria Melton

Gloria Gail Melton, age 60, of Superior and formerly of Spooner, WI passed away on July 25, 2010 at St. Francis In the Park in Superior. Gloria was born on April 27, 1950 in Shell Lake, WI to Wilbur and Doreen Mattson. She was raised in lived most of her life in Bashaw Twp. She enjoyed dancing, her cats and dogs, listening to music and playing games. She loved her family and friends. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, April (Terry Colegrove) Melton; sisters Joyce Smith and Rosemary (Jay Beaufeaux) Gray; nephews Marvin Gray and Jim Smith; nieces Malinda Shipman and Mary Ann Morris; her former husband, Harold Melton; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Scalzo-Taylor Family Funeral Home in Spooner with Pastor Dennis Kruger officiating. Interment followed at Greendale Cemetery in Rusk Twp. Casketbearers were Bill Colegrove, Chris Colegrove, Marvin Gray, Jay Beaufeaux, Allen Lawrence, Bob Lawrence, John Biver and Thom Biver.
