Gerald Kowarsch

Gerald W. Kowarsch, age 82, a resident of Siren, WI passed away on January 8, 2021. Gerald was born in 1938 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Clarence and Alma Kowarsch.
Gerald was a member of the Minnesota Cement Mason’s Local #633 and was the longest union member over 61 years. After retiring he moved to his lake home on Clam Lake.
Gerald was an outdoors kind of guy, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and was always “tinkering” with some project.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley and his parents, Clarence and Alma.
Gerald is survived by his sons, Jim Kowarsch and Mark (Suzanne) Kowarsch; grandchildren, Jestine and Shevelle; 6 great grandchildren, brothers, Richard Kowarsch, Eugene (Laura) Kowarsch, Doug (Sue) Kowarsch, Steve (Mary) Kowarsch; sisters, Sandra (Nick) Peterson, Mary (Tom) Stafki and Pam (Bob) Sword; step children, Shelley Stuen, Todd (Bibanna) Patterson and Sheila Stejskal (Mike Liedl); 7 step grandchildren and a step great grandchild; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held sometime in April or May of 2021.
