Gary Segelstrom

Gary Segelstrom, age 79, of Osseo, Minnesota died January 23, 2015. Gary was born on June 1, 1935 to Myron and Irene Segelstrom in Washburn County, Wisconsin. Gary lived most of his life in the Grantsburg area and was well known for his sense of humor and storytelling. Gary worked at Northern Manufacturing, Versatile Power and McNally Industries. After retirement he drove truck for Painted Feather. Being “on the road” is something Gary truly loved whether for business or pleasure. In his free time Gary enjoyed playing cards especially poker, cribbage, and gin. He loved fishing and in his younger years was an avid partridge hunter.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Gary is survived by his wife Sharon; sons Jeff (Debby) Segelstrom, Jim (Lonnie) Segelstrom, Kristina (Duane) Melin, and John Segelstrom; step sons Mark Wagenius, and Gary Wagenius; grandchildren Alex, Samantha, Erik, Amy, Shari and Crystal; along with 7 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.  The memorial service was Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Grantsburg Chapel.
