Ferdinand A. “Ferd” Eischens, age 84, of Danbury, WI died Sunday, September 5, 2021.
Ferd was born on January 8, 1937 in Clarkfield, MN to Ferdinand J. and Margaret Eischens.
He married Marlene (Raths) on August 7, 1965 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Paul Park, MN.
Ferd worked as a meat packer at Armour & Co. in South St. Paul for over 20 years and Morton Salt in St. Paul for over 10 years. He later owned & operated his own painting business for over 15 years.
Ferd was a hard worker but did enjoy some of the more simple things in life like fishing and stopping by the casino on occasion. His most precious times were spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger and brother in laws, David, John and Clayton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marlene; his daughter, Carrie (Mark) Shurhay; son, Mark (Lynn) Eischens; grandchildren, Christopher, Brooke and Megan; sisters, Rosalyn Bertamus, Evelyn Johnson, and Karen Polfliet; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
