Ellen Ferdon

Ella V. Ferdon, 88, passed away on August 19, 2009 at Burnett Medical Center Continuing Care Center in Grantsburg after a short illness. Ellen was born in Minneapolis where she was a volunteer for 15 years at the Salvation Army Church and active in the Ladies Aid. She moved to Danbury with her husband Lloyd where she remained until moving to the Continuing Care Center in 2006. Ella was preceded in death by her parents, Gottfried and Edith Anderson; husband, Lloyd; brother, Milton; 2 sisters in law, Phyllis and Angie; and 2 nephews. Ellen is survived by her sister, Betty Zawislak of Minneapolis; brother, Donald Anderson of Florida; any many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. At Ellen's request, no services are being held. Interment will be at Danbury Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Continuing Care Center staff for taking such good care of Ellen the last few years. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
