Elizabeth Brown

Elizabeth "Beth" Brown, age 53, of Grantsburg died April 5, 2013. Beth was born on February 5, 1960 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Robert and Carol Yerke. Beth enjoyed watching soap operas on television and loved her great Danes. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Tom Brown; daughter Erica; brother Don; and many of her great Danes. She is survived by her daughter Shelly (Aaron Simmons) Nelson; her stepdaughter Lisa (Norb) Franxman; sister Vickie (Buck) Johnson; brother Bob (Echo) Yerke; and grandchildren Erica, Alethea, Anthony, and Elana; along with other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Grantsburg Chapel. Interment will be at the Swiss Cemetery in the Town of Swiss. Pallbearers will be Aaron L. Simmons, Aaron D. Simmons, Josh Staples, Bernt Stoylen, Jeremy Yerke, and Jerry Bistram. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Yerke, Lid Nordrum, Tom Jensen and David Johnson. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Grantsburg.
