Eleanor Jotblad

Eleanor S. Jotblad, age 94, a resident of Falun, died Friday, January 13, 2017. Eleanor was born on August 12, 1922 in Falun to the late Theodore and Selma (Gustafson) Johnson. She was a lifetime and active member of the First Baptist Church of Falun. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; her son, Dwight; daughter Gloria; granddaughter, Samantha; her parents; sisters, Elsie, Doris and Ruth and brothers, Lincoln, Bennie, Donald, Raymond, LeRoy and Lawrence; daughter in law, Bonnie Jotblad. She is survived by her children, Linda (Rodney) Jensen, Dale Jotblad, Dallas Jotblad, Donavan (Sandra) Jotblad, Douglas Jotblad, and Colleen Jotblad; her 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren; daughter in law Patty; along with other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at the First Baptist Church of Falun with Pastor Mike Kleven and Pastor Steve Ward officiating. Music will be provided by Milton Johnson and Karen Miller. A burial will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Grantsburg. Casketbearers will be Mike Jensen, Kris Jensen, Donnie Spafford, Taylor Jotblad, Tanner Jotblad, Micah Jensen, Norman Jensen, and Gabriel Jensen. Honorary casketbearers will be Scott Marlette, Dillon Fleckner and Daniel Scanlon. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Grantsburg.
