Effie Wester

Effie A. Wester, age 87, a resident of Webster passed away on September 4, 2019 with Mandy and Dru by her side at Burnett Medical Center Continuing Care Center. Effie was born in Minocqua to parents, William and Faye Hansen on June 12, 1932. Her mother later remarried Earl Heier, Sr. and they lived in the Webster area.  She then married Wayne Clemenson in 1951.  They moved to Iowa and they were blessed with one daughter, Cathy. Effie was a longtime member of the Webster Lioness and was very proud of all her badges and metals she received. She loved her “Dime Bingo”, reading, doing puzzles and spending time with friends.  She loved to visit and be around people and drink lots of coffee.  When a new visitor arrived, a fresh pot of coffee was always brewed.  Effie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Clemenson; husband, Donald Wester; sister, Mary (Erickson) Bruss; brother, Earl, Jr; and sister in law, Mary Heier. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Klemm; sister FayAnn Nagel; nieces and nephews, Linda Baum, Gary (Rhonda) Erickson, Donnie (Bea) Erickson, Mandy Lewis, Dru Heier and Edie Manthie; along with many other relatives and friends. A private service was held.
