Earl Steffen

Earl L. Steffen, age 86, a resident of St. Paul passed away April 24, 2021.

Earl was a graduate of Bellingham High School. He and Donna were married on March 13, 1954. He was a Supervisor for Packaging Corp of American (CPA) in North Minneapolis for over 40 years.

In his free time he loved to travel, spend time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing and golf and an occasional happy hour with friends.

Earl was preceded in death by his infant son, Randy A. Steffen and his parents, Gustave and Irene Steffen.

Survived by wife, Donna; children, Gregg Steffen, Dean (Linda) Steffen, Pam (Nick) Andrus; brother, Ray (Pat) Steffen; sister, Marlene (Ron) Chelberg; grandchildren, Randy (Angela) Adams, Karissa (Alex) Dachel; 2 step grandchildren, Kris Hayek and Kim Kaehler; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, May 2; 3:00 PM (visitation 2-3 PM) Fridley United Methodist Church, Fridley. A private interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Mpls. Pallbearers will be Jeff Steffen, Brian Steffen, Ron Johnson, David Chelberg, Bob Bergeson and Tim Bergeson. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Chelberg, Phil Steffen, Wes Steffen and Steve Johnson. The family would like to thank the St. Croix Regional Hospice for their compassion and care.
