Doris Pederson

Doris V. Pederson, age 89, a resident of Frederic, WI passed away on December 4, 2009 at St. Croix Regional Medical Center. Doris was born on July 4, 1920 in Siren, WI to Arthur and Lura Hammer. Doris married Lyle McKee in 1939. She worked for many years as a waitress. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Sylvia, Edna, Edith, Inez, Mae, and Beth. Doris is survived by her sons, Dennis (Sandra) McKee of Escanaba, MI and Douglas McKee of St. Paul, MN; granchildren Jenny, Kelly, and Kyle McKee; sister, Shirley Olson of Frederic, WI; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior to services at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster, WI. Pastor Tom Cook officated. Interment followed at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Webster. Pallbearers were Butch Sahr, Harvey Nelson, Duane Murphy, Rich Brovum, Wayne Olson, and John Glockzin.
