Donna Shogren

Donna Lou Shogren, age 82, a resident of Grantsburg, WI, passed away on December 10, 2021 in Duluth, MN.

Donna was born to Carl Magnussen and Mabel Rose on December 22, 1938 in Cornell, WI.

Donna married Ruben Shogren on May 24, 1957 at the Baptist Parsonage in Grantsburg, WI.

Donna was a CNA for 15 years at the Burnett Medical Center Continuing Care Center in Grantsburg. She also worked as a driver/supervisor for Meals on Wheels for 43 years and was a farmer’s wife for 22 years.
Donna enjoyed doing crafts, poetry and crocheting in her free time. She also like to sing and write songs and has published a book.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Ruben; brothers, Neil and Dick; sister-in-law, Marie.
She is survived by her children, Diane (Sam) Shellito and Danny Shogren; grandchildren, Donna (Stan Chute) and Chuck Shellito; great grandchildren, Angil, Melina, Cody, Brandon, Billy, Sasha; along with many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 10:30 am (visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 am) at the Central United Methodist Church in Grantsburg, WI with Pastor Jenny Lee officiating.
