Donald T. Kogler, age 52, of Webster, passed away Saturday morning, August 23, 2014. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on November 23, 1961, a son of Theodore "Ted" and Lillian Gladys (Swenson) Kogler. He attended public schools in Minnesota, and was a 1979 graduate of Braham Senior High School. On October 31, 2002, Donald married Ann M. Brewster in Las Vegas, NV. Donald had attended Bethany Lutheran Church in Siren, and had also attended the Baptist Church in Stanchfield, MN. He had recently been employed as a building maintenance man at the St. Croix Tribal Health Center. Previously, he had worked in the construction trades and had also been a truck driver. Donald had a passion for nature. He loved hunting, and also enjoyed fishing. Surviving are his wife, Ann; a son, Dustin (fiancé Jen) Kogler; Ann's sons: Brett, James, and Shane Ophus; many grandchildren; a sister, Rachel (Larry) Ecklor; mother-in-law, Florence Brewster; and brother-in-law, Robert (Janet) Brewster; as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Lillian; and his father-in-law, James Brewster. A memorial service honoring the life of Donald T. Kogler will be conducted on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 11:00 am (visitation 10:00 to 11:00 am) at Bethany Lutheran Church, Siren, WI, with Pastor Paul Peterson officiating.
