Donald J. Cosmano, age 79, a resident of Danbury, Wisconsin, died June 16, 2013. Donald was born on October 6, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to James and Delilah Cosmano. Donald received his Bachelors Degree in Education at the Chicago Teachers College and his Masters Degree in Education at the University of Indiana. He taught in the Chicago Public School system for 30 years. Donald served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Chicago Teachers Union and the Knights of Columbus in Webster, Wisconsin. His hobbies included fishing, gardening and bird watching. He was preceded in death by his parents; James in 1988, Delilah in 1937, his stepmother Jean Cosmano in 2001 and brother James in 1987. Donald is survived by his siblings: Vincent (Sue) Cosmano, William (Lesley) Cosmano, Jean Marie (Frank) Longo and Richard (Lynne) Cosmano; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at St. Fabian Catholic Church in Bridgeview, Illinois at 11:15 am.
