Donald G. Bollinger, Age 64, of Siren Wisconsin, died October 16, 2013 at home. Donald was born February 23, 1949 in Adams County Pennsylvania to Charlotte (Baker) and Glenn Bollinger. Don grew up in Tauney, Maryland where he served honorably in the United State Air Force from 1973-1977. don moved from Rapid City, South Dakota to St Paul, Minnesota in 1986 where he met and married Victoria (Huebl) Meyer and raised 2 children. Don retired from Graham Construction in 2010. He built his home on Upper Clam Lake in Siren Wisconsin where he and Vicky lived until his death. Don was a great grandfather to his two loves that made his life; Ashley and Vanessa Meyer, whom he spent all the time he could with them. "Papa" will continue to watch over them. Don loved fishing and more fishing and golf. He spent many days fishing with his brother-in-law, Timmy Huebl and golfed with a host of friends. Don was only a call away from family and friends to help out in many ways. He will be missed! A private family service will be held in his honor at Northern Wisconsin's Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Spooner on Friday, October 26 at 2:30pm. Don was preceded in death by his parents Charlotte and Glenn Bollinger, and his brother Dennis Bollinger. Grateful for sharing his life are his loving wife, Vicky of Siren, his son Ronnie (DeVon) of St. Paul, a daughter April (Steve) Voelker of Hastings, brother in law Timmy (Mary) Huebl of St. Paul, a sister Debbie Strine from Tauney MD, and his two granddaughters; Ashley and Vanessa Meyer of St Paul. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
