Donald Bensing

Donald Joseph Bensing Donald J. Bensing, age 80, a resident of Siren, Wisconsin died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Grantsburg, WI. Donald was born March 9, 1928 to Joseph and Irma (Kurtze) Bensing in Wisconsin. Donald grew up on the Bensing farm in New Berlin, Wisconsin, which is now the location of Eisenhower High School. He was one of 32 grandchildren of George Bensing and one of two sons of Joseph Bensing. Donald was a Development Engineer with Allis Chalmers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for over 20 years. Donald was preceded in death by his parents and wife Marwen (Mickey). Donald is survived by his step-children Deb (Stefan) Benson of Webster, Wisconsin, Vicky (Randy) Phelps of Menominee, Michigan, and Kathy (Eric) Nimmer of Waterford, Wisconsin, brother Jerry (Jenny) Bensing of New Brighton, Minnesota, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Bensing Scholarship Fund. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. with 1 hour prior visitation at Holy Apostle Church, 16000 W. National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin 53151, (262)786-7330. Burial following the memorial service at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster, Wisconsin.
