Della Smythe

Della Marie Smythe , age 84, of Webster, WI., passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Frederic Nursing & Rehab. Della was born on June 13, 1932 in Ellsworth, WI., to parents, Della (Smith) and Senate Hills. She attended and graduated as Valedictorian from Webster High School in 1950. On September 2, 1955, Della married her sweetheart, Edward Smythe, in Minneapolis, MN. She was employed by Western National Insurance for 14 years in Minneapolis, MN and was later employed by Farmers Insurance in Buffalo, MN., for an additional 15 years. In 1992, Edward and Della retired and moved back to the Webster area to be closer to family. Della enjoyed embroidery and crocheting. She also liked collecting various angel figurines over the years. Preceding Della in death are her parents; and her 9 siblings. Della is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Edward; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
