David was born to Marian and Roger Egeland on April 16, 1958, in Minneapolis, MN.
David married his wife Gayle in Minneapolis and they have since enjoyed 43 loving years together.
He enjoyed fixing up and tinkering with cars and trucks. David enjoyed going to and watching demolition derbies, he also enjoyed going to the casino. He loved to fish and his favorite spot to cast out was on Wood Lake.
David is preceded in death by his father, Roger Egeland, and his grandparents.
David is survived by his wife, Gayle Egeland, his children, David (Rebecca) Egeland and Daniel Egeland, grandchildren, Amy, Dylan, and Sophia, sisters, Theresa (Steven) Schumacher, Julie (Guy) Asmussen, and Tonja Jones, brother, James "Joe" (Lori) Egeland, as well as nieces, nephews, and many other loving family and friends.
The Swedberg-Taylor funeral home in Grantsburg, WI, has been entrusted with arrangements.
