David Burkinshaw

David J. Burkinshaw, age 26, a resident of Webb Lake died March 25, 2013 after a valiant battle with Cystic Fibrosis. David was born on June 13, 1986 in Natick, Massachusetts to Stephen and Grace Burkinshaw. He grew up in the Lake City, Minnesota area where he attended and graduated high school. He lived out the rest of his life in Webb Lake where he enjoyed the country life with family and friends. His passion was his 1969 Chevy Impala. He loved working on them, the mechanics and refurbishing. He built his own truck which he enjoyed taking out mudding. He also was known to do some fishing and liked to play pool. He loved hanging out with family and friends. David is survived and will be sadly missed by his parents Stephen and Grace;and his paternal grandparents Elaine Burkinshaw and Robert Burkinshaw; and maternal grandfather Robert Kunkle. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at the Lakeside Community Lutheran Church 28626 County Road H, Webb Lake, WI with Pastor Bill Schroeder officiating. A reception (potluck) to follow at Gliders (formerly Lunkers) from 12:30-3:00 PM. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Webster, Wisconsin.
