Daryl D. Glover, age 43, of Shell Lake, WI passed away on April 18, 2011, in his home surrounded by his family. Daryl was born on January 1, 1968 to Layre D. and Naomi ( Collins) Glover in Cedar Rapids, IA. Daryl started school in Cedar Rapids, IA and after moving finished at Siren Schools and graduated from Siren High School. He loved sports and participated in basketball, football, cross country and track. After graduation he served in the National Guard and received training to become a medical assistant. He later attended college at St. Kate's. He worked for over 20 years in the healthcare industry in Minnesota and Wisconsin at various facilities. Daryl loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed snowmobiling. Daryl was preceded in death by his father, Layre Glover, son, Joshua Patraw, grandparents, an uncle and an aunt. Survivors include daughters, Laycee Glover of Spooner, WI, Ashley Glover of Menomonie, WI and Brittany Patraw of Cottage Grove, MN; granddaughter, Skyler Patraw of Cottage Grove, MN; mother, Naomi Glover of Webster, WI; sisters, Cheryl (Rob) Wheeler of Webster, WI, Deanna (Mark) Krause of Webster, WI, Loreen (Mike) Houdek of Decorah, IA and Ellen (Jeff) Numedahl of Decorah, IA; wife and stepdaughters, Tammy Glover and Savannah Soltis and Katie Soltis of Spooner, WI; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Siren Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at Trinity Lutheran Church, Falun with Pastor Carl Heidel officiating. Music will be provided by Erin Spohn and Allyson Krause. Interment will follow at Mudhen Lake/Lakeview Cemetery. Casket bearers are Brad Krause, Keith Oiyott, Al Oustigoff, Scott Jewell, Jeff Alden and Chuck Keith. Honorary casket bearers are Bryan Krause, Lee Nowadsky and Charlie DeBlieck.
