Dariwn "Max" F. Maxwell, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandpa of Webster passed away on Ocotber 12, 2013 with his family at his side at the age of 73. Max was born on April 30, 1940 in Askov, Minnesota to James and Alpha Maxwell. He grew up in Askov, attending school there before going on to engineering school. He took a job working for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad as an engineer, working there for 26 years before he retired at the age of 62. After retiring they moved to the Webster area where he worked at the Tap and at Tires Plus in Milltown. He and Patsy were married on June 21, 1981 in Fremont, Nebraska. Max enjoyed cooking on the grill, watching TV and spending time with his family. He liked taking care of his grandchildren and great grandchildren with a little help from grandma. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronald, sisters Evelyn, Faye and Joyce , and stepson Jason Reeves. He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy; children Tammie, Randy (MaryJo), Susan (Paul), Connie (Dan), and Coral (Don); 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:30 AM (visitation 10:30-11:30 AM) at Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 5-8 PM. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
