Darrell Mogensen

Darrel Floyd Mogensen, age 70, of Sarona, WI passed away October 6, 2014. Darrel was born June 1, 1944 in St. James, Minnesota to Floyd and Caroline (Bassett) Mogensen. He married Regina Carpenter, December 17, 1992 at Imperial Place, Las Vegas, Nevada. Darrel was a member of Hungary Hallow Steam Engine Club and Minnesota Crop Improvement Assoc. Darrel is survived by his wife, Regina; son, Jim (Yvonne) Mogensen; daughter, Susie (Carl) Weitzenkamp; grandchildren, Brandon, Nichole, Aaron, Alissa, Wade and Tyler; great grandchildren, Kylee and Alexa; sisters, Alberta Elvin and Evelyn Minnick; and his nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents and niece, Wanda. A gathering of friends and celebration of life will be Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 11:00-3:00 at the Hungry Hollow Club Chapel, Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Arrangements were entrusted to Scalzo-Taylor Funeral Home Spooner, Wisconsin.
