Darlene was born on February 3, 1948 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Russell and Lois Sly. Darlene married John on January 18, 1969 in Racine, Wisconsin.
Darlene loved her hummingbirds, spending time with the family, fishing, camping and coloring.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Chase; son, Raymond Chase; parents, Russell and Lois and brothers, Duff and Jerry Sly.
She is survived by her children, Lori (Harvey) Hetchler, Becky (Tim) Elliott and Roxanne (Jamey) Wells; grandchildren, T.J (Amanda) Elliott, Ashley Elliott, Victoria Shaw, Elizabeth (Darin) Soligny, Andrew Hetchler, Emily Paulson, Katelyn (Dakota) Mau and Julie Chase; great grandchildren John and David Elliott, Connor and Aaron Flannigan, Janessa Pikula, Ava Soligny and Arthur and Thea Mau; sisters, Dorthy (Fred) Steffan and Rosie (Dave) Johnson; other relatives and friends.
