Darlene Butler

Darlene H. Butler, age 73, a resident of Webster died Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Darlene was born August 18, 1943 in Siren to parents, Reuben and Nellie (Thompson) Cairns. Darlene loved to cook and worked and numerous places.  She also did Home Care. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Theodore W. Nelson; infant brother; and grandson, Aaron Madison. She will be sadly missed by her children Kathleen (Paul) Knoop, Theodore Nelson, Jr., Jeffery Nelson and Theresa Nelson; her brothers, Robert Cairns, William Cairns and Jack Knutson; her sisters, Jean Marie Johnson and Sandra Tisdale; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 12:00 PM (visitation 11-12) at Lakeview United Methodist Church in Hertel.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Hertel.  Casketbearers were Braeden Shallock, Camran Madison, Michael Madison, Trey Nelson, Thomas Nelson, and Dennis Boyd.  Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.  Online condolences can be made at www.swedberg-taylor.com
