Daniel Torberg

Daniel John “Nork” Torberg, age 63, of Siren, WI passed away peacefully in his home on September 17, 2021.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Bernie and Virginia Torberg; brothers, Peter and Richard.

He is survived by his loving companion, Nancy Tischbein; brother, Steven (Jacqueline) Torberg; sister, Robin Brown; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Nork, as he was known, grew up in Hopkins, MN. He is well known for his wood carving, an art that was handed down through the family. Nork was not only a gifted carver but also a gifted storyteller. Nork was well loved and will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 2, 2021 from 1-4 at Grizzly’s Wood Fired Grill located at 220 Carlson Parkway N, Plymouth, MN 55447.
